The initial expectations from us, the client, did not encompass the flexibility, time and grace that the Curtis team utilised, allowing the successful navigation around the preliminary value engineering and design adaptation demands, nor did we predict the continuation of this additional layer of client support which transpired to be pivotal to dissolving several unexpected hurdles which emerged as the build progressed.”

The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.

Sharkey UK worked with Curtis on The Schloss Roxburghe to create the modern, elegant bedrooms in the new Estate House. Curtis manufactured and installed the luxurious fittings and fixtures to an excellent standard. The project was expertly managed from start to finish from design work to manufacture, with quick and easy communication which helped the project run smoothly. We have worked with Curtis on many projects and will continue to do so in the future."

AKP Scotland have been working with Curtis Furniture for the last 10 months on the refurbishment of the Marriott Glasgow Hotel. We have now completed over 200 rooms of this 300 room hotel. As with any large refurbishment in a trading hotel there have been many difficult challenges. I am pleased to say that the Curtis team have not only manufactured and installed high quality furniture, they have also shown us flexibility and on-site support. We have worked with Curtis on many hotels and I am pleased to say that, yet again, they performed well on our latest project for Ember Locke in Kensington. They manufactured 120 kitchens for our project and were a great support in engineering and designing kitchens which worked across the many challenging room types in this beautiful period building. The deliveries were communicated by a dedicated project manager and the furniture arrived on time for what was a challenging multi phased programme."

We recently completed a significant renovation at the Hilton Leeds City, focusing on upgrading our guestrooms. Curtis played a pivotal role in this transformation by supplying high-quality case goods in collaboration with Bell & Swift.
