Sharkey UK worked with Curtis on The Schloss Roxburghe to create the modern, elegant bedrooms in the new Estate House. Curtis manufactured and installed the luxurious fittings and fixtures to an excellent standard. The project was expertly managed from start to finish from design work to manufacture, with quick and easy communication which helped the project run smoothly. We have worked with Curtis on many hotels and I am pleased to say that, yet again, they performed well on our latest project for Ember Locke in Kensington. They manufactured 120 kitchens for our project and were a great support in engineering and designing kitchens which worked across the many challenging room types in this beautiful period building. We worked with Curtis on the refurbishment of Hilton Glasgow. The 1st phase provided the challenge of three different room designs and the immovable target of the COP 26 UN Conference. Given the speed and quality of Phase 1, we had no hesitation in inviting them back to do the Phase 2 bedrooms a year later."

The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.
The team at Curtis Furniture have supported us with 1,000+ key refurbishment projects over the past three years. The projects have been delivered at speed, with concurrent phases across a national portfolio of hotels, and the quality of case goods and loose furniture has remained consistently high. We trust Curtis to align with our standards of excellence, particularly in respect of quality and sustainability.
