Barton Minty have engaged Curtis Furniture on several hotel projects, across a wide variety of brands and locations. To avoid the risks of shipping from outside the UK, we wanted to select a British Manufacturer, and Curtis are one of the few with the capacity to supply bespoke case goods for 1,000 rooms over a 12-month project. Our relationship with Curtis goes back over 20 years. We needed to choose an expert partner we could trust to turn around the room refurbishments in a timely manner and with minimal disruption, as the hotel remained fully operational throughout."
Having partnered with Curtis Furniture on previous projects in the UK, we were pleased to appoint them as the bedroom furnishings supplier for Seaton House and Dunluce Lodge. Their meticulous attention to detail throughout the planning and manufacturing processes was greatly appreciated. We worked with Curtis on the refurbishment of Hilton Glasgow. The 1st phase provided the challenge of three different room designs and the immovable target of the COP 26 UN Conference. Given the speed and quality of Phase 1, we had no hesitation in inviting them back to do the Phase 2 bedrooms a year later."
The team at Curtis were integral to the magnificent refurbishment of The Queens Hotel in Leeds. All the bedrooms were transformed plus 17 new added, bringing the room total to 232 including a Presidential Suite. Curtis’s designers helped to achieve the art-deco inspired interiors. Choosing Curtis offered huge advantages from the initial consultations and site visits, right though to delivery and installation."
We have worked with Curtis on many hotels and I am pleased to say that, yet again, they performed well on our latest project for Ember Locke in Kensington. They manufactured 120 kitchens for our project and were a great support in engineering and designing kitchens which worked across the many challenging room types in this beautiful period building. The deliveries were communicated by a dedicated project manager and the furniture arrived on time for what was a challenging multi phased programme."
