To avoid the risks of shipping from outside the UK, we wanted to select a British Manufacturer, and Curtis are one of the few with the capacity to supply bespoke case goods for 1,000 rooms over a 12-month project. Our relationship with Curtis goes back over 20 years. We needed to choose an expert partner we could trust to turn around the room refurbishments in a timely manner and with minimal disruption, as the hotel remained fully operational throughout."

Curtis manufactured 312 rooms of high quality, bespoke bedroom furniture for The Tribe hotel. Communication was speedy and consistent, and the furniture received was of high quality and offered excellent value for money. Working to drawings and moodboards from Koncept design, they made the furniture and fittings as we had envisioned. AKP Scotland have been working with Curtis Furniture for the last 10 months on the refurbishment of the Marriott Glasgow Hotel. We have now completed over 200 rooms of this 300 room hotel. As with any large refurbishment in a trading hotel there have been many difficult challenges.
