our projects
“We have worked with the team at Curtis for over 20 years, with various hotel brands and private owners. The team responds promptly when design information is issued and always provides detailed quotations. Curtis’ UK-based factory enables them to provide high quality furniture and to be flexible in meeting the challenges of large and complex installations across the country."
Barton Minty have engaged Curtis Furniture on several hotel projects, across a wide variety of brands and locations. As with most large scale hotel refurbishment, all have had their own specific challenges. The team at Curtis were always able to find solutions, resulting in delivery and installation of long lasting furniture."
The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.
The team at Curtis Furniture have supported us with 1,000+ key refurbishment projects over the past three years. The projects have been delivered at speed, with concurrent phases across a national portfolio of hotels, and the quality of case goods and loose furniture has remained consistently high. We trust Curtis to align with our standards of excellence, particularly in respect of quality and sustainability. We also know that, if and when projects throw up issues, we can rely on the team to respond swiftly and proactively."
We worked with Curtis on the refurbishment of Hilton Glasgow. The 1st phase provided the challenge of three different room designs and the immovable target of the COP 26 UN Conference. Given the speed and quality of Phase 1, we had no hesitation in inviting them back to do the Phase 2 bedrooms a year later."
The Hilton Hotel Cobham is one of many projects for which we have employed Curtis Furniture for more than a decade. The Curtis team and factory have always been flexible and quick to react. From start to finish their project manager communicated very well and the finished product is, as ever, excellent."

We have worked with Curtis on many projects and will continue to do so in future."
AKP Scotland have been working with Curtis Furniture for the last 10 months on the refurbishment of the Marriott Glasgow Hotel. We have now completed over 200 rooms of this 300 room hotel. As with any large refurbishment in a trading hotel there have been many difficult challenges. I am pleased to say that the Curtis team have not only manufactured and installed high quality furniture, they have also shown us flexibility and on-site support. In particular, we found the attitude of the sales and delivery team to be exceptionally positive. We look forward to working with Curtis again on our future hotel projects”
"Curtis Furniture understood the vision for Onefifty Fenchurch from the outset and delivered a bespoke furniture package that perfectly complemented the character of the building. Working within the constraints of a listed property required flexibility, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach throughout the project. The quality of the finished furniture, combined with the team’s professionalism and ability to deliver tailored solutions, made Curtis a valued partner on the scheme.”
