Dakota, Newcastle

Brief: To manufacture and install the fitted furniture and loose items for the 118 stylish guestrooms, including the Grand Deluxe and Garden Deluxe suites, at this stunning new hotel in Newcastle.

Background:  Situated on St. Ann’s Wharf, overlooking the riverside promenade, the newest addition to the Dakota hotel collection has 118 elegant bedrooms, including a range of suites. With designs from Greg Brookes and KPP Architects and with GMI as the Contractors, this project for Evans Property Group required Curtis to create beautiful, stylish pieces to work with the Dakota aesthetic.
