We have worked with the team at Curtis Furniture on multiple hotel projects and for over 10 years. The Marriott Kensington was, like many of our previous hotel projects, both large and complex. The hotel's floor footprint resulted in various room types and configurations to accommodate the available space. To ensure the correct setup and components for each room, a master matrix was developed for Curtis to refer to. Each phase had a one-month timeframe, which Curtis had to manage efficiently to meet handover deadlines. Occasionally, the team had to work at a fast pace to accommodate additional joinery requested by the client. But the installation process was consistent throughout each phase to meet handover.

We worked with Curtis on the refurbishment of Hilton Glasgow. The 1st phase provided the challenge of three different room designs and the immovable target of the COP 26 UN Conference. Given the speed and quality of Phase 1, we had no hesitation in inviting them back to do the Phase 2 bedrooms a year later."

County Contractors appointed Curtis to deliver the case good package for their fast track 311 bedroom refurbishment at the Crowne Plaza, Birmingham. As with all live refurbishments, a flexible, professional, prompt approach to delivery and problem solving was required by all and Curtis once again met all of these challenges with an excellent service. Curtis completed the design, supply and installation of the bedroom FF&E at the new Hilton Garden Inn hotel extension at our Lancashire County Cricket Club project.
