The Other House

UK contract furniture manufacturers Curtis Furniture have drawn on over 25 years of expertise to supply the exclusive residents club The Other House in South Kensington with bespoke case goods and seating.
Working closely with the award-winning interior designers Bergman Interiors, Curtis manufactured the case goods and seating in red, green and teal colourways to complement the interior themes for the bedrooms, club flats, club vaults, and club collections comprising turret rooms, mezzanines and courtyard apartments.
The Curtis touch is most prevalent in the studio-style club flats, where Curtis also supplied the kitchen cabinets and ornate wood or metal screens to divide the living space from the en-suite bedroom, but it is also felt throughout all the bedroom areas, with stylish contemporary headboards.
Following a site survey, Curtis’ design team produced working drawings which enabled the client’s team to collaborate on the final details prior to manufacture. The furniture was then crafted by specialist cabinet makers in Curtis’ factory in Leeds and installed on site by Curtis’ own installation team.
The Other House, South Kensington, features in The Times/Sunday Times Best Places to Stay 2023 guide. All residents have access to a private club, with chic bars and state-of-the-art fitness and wellness retreat.
